Indoor Beach Volleyball

The Beach YYC is Calgary’s only indoor beach volleyball and recreation facility. We are open year round, providing a space where all Calgarians can be active.

We offer a variety of indoor beach volleyball leagues for all skill levels. Each night consists of two 40 minute matches, each as a ‘best of three’ contest.

2023-2024 Dates
Volleyball League registration opens six weeks before the start of the league season and will close when the league fills up.

Summer League Dates
Summer League starts the week of July 10th & the 8-week league ends the week of August 28th.
Registration dates – Early: May 29, Regular: June 5

Fall League Dates
Fall League starts the week of September 11th & the 10-week league ends the week of November 13th.
Registration dates – Early: July 31, Regular: August 7

Winter Dates
Winter League starts the week of November 20th & the 10-week league ends the week of February 5th.
2-week break Dec 25-Jan 5
Registration dates – Early: October 9, Regular: October 16

Deep Winter League Dates
Deep Winter League starts the week of February 12th & the 10-week league ends the week of April 15th.
Registration dates – Early: January 1, Regular: January 8

Deep Winter Beach Ultimate Frisbee League starts on Sunday, January 14th & the 10-week league ends on March 24th (no games Family Day weekend)
Registration opens on November 27

Spring League Dates
Spring League starts the week of April 22th & the 10-week league ends the week of June 24th.
Registration dates – Early: March 11, Regular: March 18

Summer 2024 League Dates
Summer League starts the week of July 8th & the 8-week league ends the week of August 26th.
Registration dates – Early: May 27, Regular: June 3

We create a “House” team for individuals and small groups for people to join who don’t have their own complete team. If you have any questions about where you should register, don’t hesitate to ask.
